Dr. Abraham grew up in New Jersey and Maryland and knew at a young age that she wanted to become a physician. From high school, she was accepted into the Six-Year Accelerated Medical Education Program at Boston University. After attending college and medical school in Boston, she moved to Philadelphia for her Internal Medicine Residency at Temple University. There, she met and married her husband, and after Residency, they moved to Dallas. At UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dr. Abraham completed her Fellowship training in gastroenterology. She decided to stay in Dallas and joined Digestive Health Associates after Fellowship.

Dr. Abraham enjoys traveling with her husband and two sons, as well as music and physical fitness. In terms of her practice philosophy, she enjoys listening to patients and prides herself on spending quality time with them. Among her interests are gastroesophageal reflux, colon cancer screening and the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders in women.
